🐼 Hong Kong/Macau Must-Buy Items: Top 10 Essentials Recommended by Locals
Recently, I went on a luxurious staycation at the Lotte Signiel Hotel to celebrate a special occasion 😎. Despite the hefty price, I thoroughly enjoyed the luxurious facilities and excellent service.
Everyone knows that a proper staycation can be busier and more packed than a regular trip, right? In this post, I will share how to fully enjoy a staycation at Lotte Signiel Busan!
I will cover the price, facilities, operating hours, precautions, nearby restaurants, breakfast info, hotel amenities, booking tips, and how to make the most of your staycation. Let’s get started!
Visit the official Lotte Signiel Busan website
Lotte Signiel Busan
Signiel Busan is a 5-star luxury hotel located in the LCT Tower, a landmark in Haeundae, Busan. It’s the second Signiel Hotel following Signiel Seoul, and it’s conveniently accessible from Jungdong and Haeundae subway stations. Additionally, it’s close to Haeundae Rodeo Street, making it perfect for shopping and dining.
Hotel Stay Review (2024)
Room
I stayed in the Premier Double Ocean View room for a night. The view was fantastic, and the room was spacious, perfect for two people!
I usually don’t like carpeted accommodations, but Signiel is so well-maintained, clean, and well-organized that I felt comfortable walking barefoot.
Despite being open since June 17, 2020, the furniture, bedding, and bathroom all felt new and well-maintained!
The shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash, and body lotion were all from Diptyque, and there was a Dyson hair dryer available. Usually, I carry my own Dyson hair dryer when traveling, but at Signiel, I didn’t need to. The bath amenities included salts and bath bombs, perfect for a relaxing bath before bed or before check-out.
Basic toiletries like toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors, and shower caps are provided but come at an additional charge, so it’s best to bring your own!
Most rooms at Lotte Signiel Busan offer ocean views! Especially from high floors, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Gwangandaegyo Bridge and Haeundae Beach, which was something I was looking forward to. 🤩🤩
During our stay, the weather was a bit cloudy during the day, so we didn’t get to see a sunny view, but the sea mist added a unique charm. Watching the sunrise and sunset from the room’s balcony was a spectacular experience. Want to see the night view of Haeundae and Gwangandaegyo Bridge from our room?
Welcome Tea
After checking in and being escorted to our room, the hotel provided a welcome tea. The tea, which has a subtle aroma and is good for relieving fatigue, was assorted by a tea master in Korea and comes with dried fruit.
Make sure to eat the dried fruit separately! I mistakenly thought it was to be brewed with the tea, which was disappointing when I found out later. I mean, it tasted good but I wanted to enjoy this little snack as it was meant to be…
Price
The room rates at Lotte Signiel Busan vary depending on the room type and booking period, generally ranging from 300,000 KRW to 5,000,000 KRW per night (for suites). Using special promotions or package deals can help you get a better rate.
If you know someone working at Lotte, ask for an employee discount! It’s more affordable than the public rates.
I stayed in the Premier Double Ocean View room, which was perfect for two. They offered an upgrade to the Premier Suite Ocean View for an extra fee, but I was happy with our original room and didn’t switch. I would love to stay in the same room on my next visit 🥰.

Facilities and Operating Hours
🍀3rd Floor – Lobby
There’s a convenience store, café, restaurant, and Olive Young(Korea’s biggest drug store) connected to the lobby. You can enter through the door opposite the reception desk. The passage is open from 06:00 to 24:00.

🍀5th Floor – Restaurant
The View Restaurant
The View, known for its breakfast, costs about 52,000 KRW (about $37) per person. The quality is outstanding, and it was one of the highlights of our stay.
The variety of fresh ingredients was impressive. The soup was as rich as those from specialized restaurants, and the bread selection was extensive, with the bread pudding and egg tarts being particularly delicious. There were various Korean and Western dishes to choose from 😛.
Chao Lan Restaurant
Chao Lan is a modern Chinese restaurant reflecting the vibrant atmosphere of 1920s Hong Kong. You can enjoy dim sum and tea during the day and cocktails in the evening. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to visit, but it’s on our list for next time!

This photo from the hotel’s website is of the pool, but it wasn’t quite as impressive this much. However, the pool was maintained at a comfortable temperature – I visited in July when the weather was cloudy and a bit chilly, but the warm water was perfect! It was wonderful swimming while looking at the expansive ocean view.
Looking up at Signiel from the back was also quite enjoyable too. With the mist spread out above and below, it felt like swimming in Laputa floating in the sky or an ethereal paradise. It was quite a fascinating experience. 😶🌫️
